Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant with experience in e-commerce to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles, a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and payment systems, and the ability to manage multiple clients in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting activities,
including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Oversee financial operations for e-commerce clients, ensuring accuracy across multiple sales channels and payment gateways
- Reconcile and track online transactions from platforms like Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, and payment processors like Stripe and PayPal
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in an e-commerce environment
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred) and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon Seller Central) and payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvements
- Advanced English skills (written and spoken) are required. We will only accept CVs in English
